Our Logo

As some of you are familiar, this logo has a long history with Marine Advisors.  Originally produced by Marine Advisors in Vietnam, the embedded phrase "COVAN" (sometimes seen as COVAN MY)  meant Advisor in Vietnamese.  Marine advisors often wore tiger-stripe camouflage with COVAN patches when working and living alongside their Vietnamese counterparts.  The logo was researched and revived by a Marine Infantry Advisor (C.H.) around 2018 and has since been adopted by may Marine Advisors during training and subsequent deployments.  We have further revised it for use as the logo for the Marine Advisor Foundation as it appears today.

Due to trademark regulations, none of our merchandise can say "Marine" (see official trademark guidance for the extremely long list of words and phrases that can not be used).  The rules are slightly different if you are producing unit gear (platoon t-shirts) and anyone is welcome to use the old logo "U.S. Marine Advisor" towards these ends.  A free vector file can be found in our OneNote resource platform.
